    Ladakh
    Ladakh is a region administered by India as a union territory, and constituting a part of the larger Kashmir region, It is bordered by the Tibet Autonomous Region to the east, the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh to the south, both the Indian union territory. It extends from the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram range to the north to the main Great Himalayas to the south.

    Pangong Lake
    Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. It is 134 km long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso.

    Sham Valley
    Perhaps the easiest and most enjoyable trek around Lek is the Sham Valley one, which gives out the traditional aroma of the Ladakh village life from the villages you come across on the way. There is no way one could be left untouched by the dream land that was transformed thanks to the stream that is watering the lands and bringing prosperity and wild natural beauty.

    You won't find any serious hardship while trekking through the paths and you won't ascend more than 4,500. You will come across many villages and familiarize yourself with the locals who have kept their customs and ways untouched by time. You can stay at local houses that are appointed for village Home stay and a camera is a necessary addition to your backpack, since both views and people are a beautiful sight to capture.

    Khardung La Pass - Mountain pass in Asia
    Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The local pronunciation is "Khardong La" or "Khardzong La" but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range is north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. 

    Nubra Valley - Valley in Asia
    Nubra is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers". Demands have been raised and BJP has hinted at creation of Nubra as a new district.
